What we collect
When you create an account or join the weekly email, we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile name from Google — never your password.
As you learn, we save your progress: which shiurim you started or finished, how far along you are, and whether you listened, watched, read the transcript, or downloaded a file. This is what powers bookmarking and “My shiurim.”
How we use it
To let you sign in, to remember where you left off, to send the weekly update and occasional announcements, and to understand — in aggregate — which shiurim are being learned so we can serve the community better. We do not sell or rent your information, ever.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies and local browser storage. They keep you signed in, remember your session, and store your preferences (such as audio vs. video). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but signing in and saved progress will not work without them.
Service providers
Shiurim, transcripts, and gilyonos are hosted on Google Drive. Accounts and progress are stored with our hosting and database provider. Emails are delivered through our email provider, which records deliveries and bounces so we can keep the list healthy.
Email preferences
Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe here at any time. Unsubscribing does not delete your account.
Deleting your information
Write to us and we will remove your account, progress, and email address from our records.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
